The six-storey building, which occupies almost an entire block in Lisbon’s Baixa district and has been home to Millennium BCP for many years (and, prior to that, in the 1970s, to Banco Português do Atlântico), is currently undergoing extensive refurbishment and is set to reopen as a luxury hotel before the end of 2025. This is a project by the SANA group, which bought the building on Rua do Ouro from BCP in 2018 and has invested €45 million in the site, with the aim of launching the first property under its new top-of-the-range hotel brand.
