What is EPIC SANA Algarve basic philosophy?

CR: We aim to offer unique and innovative experiences in hospitality from cool and chic accommodation to bespoke wellness retreats in order to create positive and lasting memories for all our guests.


What makes your different from other wellness and fitness resorts ?

CR: Our seamless personalised services paired with our unique cuisine using the freshest products from the Algarve help to set us apart from other wellness resorts. We also enjoy a unique location within a lush pine forest next to Falésia Beach. All our programmes run all year without fixed dates in order to be even more tailor-made. What are your most popular programmes?

CR: Our most popular programmes are the Sayanna Yoga Retreat and Sayanna Reshape which has two goals in one - weight loss and improving your overall physical condition.


How do you support your guest to find the right treatments?

CR: Our Wellness Assistants are always available to assist and advise our guests. Through various assessments and evaluations, we can determine each guest's needs and goals.


Can you tell us a little about the wellness team?

CR: The team is multidisciplinary and led by top health experts including consulting fitness instructors, spa therapists, nutritionists and alternative health practitioners.


What is the main demographic of your guests at EPIC SANA?

CR: Our guests tend to range between 35 and 55 years of age and people who live fast-paced lives. We welcome all manner of guests from solo travellers to couples to families. Many of our guests are fitness addicts who like to keep in shape during their holidays but there are also people who come to lose weight and experience our yoga classes and workshops.


What are the short and long term benefits of a stay at EPIC SANA Algarve?

CR: The short term benefits of a stay include improved mood, increased vitality and a balanced body and mind. In the long term, clients can expect to implement positive lifestyle changes and increase their longevity.


What is the best time of year to visit the Algarve?

CR: The Algarve is a year round destination and all of our Sayanna Retreats are available all year-round too.


Is there a minimum stay at your resort?

CR: Most guests stay with us for 7 nights but we also offer shorter programmes of 3 and 5 nights.


What is the most important advice you would give to someone who wants to embark on a wellness holiday?

CR: Make sure you prepare your body! Aim for an early start of what is ahead of you by having your final evening meal at home before 7pm, ensuring that it is low in carbs. This allows your digestive system time to work before bedtime, resulting in a better quality of sleep. You will awake feeling fresh and filled with energy to begin your healthy retreat programme at the resort.
